Have I told you that R is a painter? Well, he is. We decided that the house in town should have a last hurrah before it passes into new hands and becomes something else. So, for those of you who live around here…maybe you can drop by and we can put faces to all the words that have passed between us. To far-flung friends: there are website links in the following invitation. We will have to continue to exist in each others’ imaginations.

Thank you so much, I love to read about other vegetarians and vegans as it gives me the strength to continue. I have about a thousand vegetarian feeds in my google reader, but I’m sure another can’t hurt!! I did manage to find a good lentil recipes here, but I’ll be sure to try yours too. Thanks!
Hi there, long time lurker here with my first ever comment! My daughter is getting married to her lovely mexican boyfriend soon, and I’m tasked with doing the wedding party! I thought enchiladas would be a nice snack, so trying to find a good enchilada recipe. What do you think? Any other suggestions?? Anyway, thanks for your hard work as ever…
Sashawn~Welcome. I do a lot of lurking myself, but it’s nice that you spoke up. I always gravitate to the guacamole & chips.
Thank you so much, this was very interesting. I was actually born in Madrid ( not telling you when though!) but was moved around europe and lastly settled in Britain when I was 7. I dont remember much of the few years I was in spain, but the smell of spanish food always seems to ring a bell in me or something. Funny, how I dont remember anything except the smells, isn’t it! I actually found a whole internet site dedicated to spanish recipes, which gave me great delight and thought I ought to share with your readers. Anyway, thank you again. I’ll get my husband to add your feed to my rss thing…
Carmen~Welcome! I can always use a little Spanish flavor to spice things up.
