Dreaming of a White Christmas? I’ve experienced only one in my lifetime. It was not too long ago, so here’s a photo. It’s the closest I will get this year.

Beautiful! I’ve never had a white Christmas. In fact, I’ve only seen snow a few times in my life. (I don’t get out enough.) The first time I saw snow come down from the sky, when driving up north of Sacramento to visit family, it literally did not compute at first.
Scarcity ups the wonder factor. I think a trip to the mountains would do wonders for you.
Only one white Christmas? But Ricki how is that even possible?
Great photo, winter’s version of a Calder mobile.
We get the occasional few days of snow but the chances of it landing on Christmas are pretty slim. I like that Calder comparison.
Chances are good for a white Christmas here but I’m in Colorado! At least you got one!
I guess if I were serious about getting one every year, Colorado would be the place.
That’s a pure white vignette, Rickii. I like its simplicity a lot.
I love the way snow evens out the rough spots to create that simplicity.
We pretended to be snowed in for almost a week. It was fun that once but it did cut down on the holiday revelry.
Thanks…I love snow!
It was in Portland, which made it all the more special. We can always spend a day at Timberline when we yearn for snow.
Looking like there won’t be any white Christmas here in Chicago.
Crazy weather prevails…never know what to expect. Well, we do: rain and more rain.
I’ve had many but am hoping for lots of snow this year, even if it doesn’t come at Christmas. Our projected high that day will be in the upper 60’s!!
Snow feels festive to me whenever it comes. Merry Christmas!
As a lifelong Southerner, a white Christmas will likely only be the stuff of dreams. But I have experienced a white Thanksgiving while visiting Santa Fe!
That one white Christmas was memorable. It will do me if we never get another one. Merry Christmas, Pam!
I’m dreaming of a wet Christmas? It wouldn’t be bad to have a day or two of snow this winter but one never knows here in the PNW. Sure is pretty!
We just spent the day last minute shopping and running errands. Being snowed in puts a stop to all such activity. The only danger facing us was nearly being blown off the roof of the parking structure. Home safe and sound and wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
I’m beginning to forget what snow is, our winters are becoming so warm, wet and windy here in Scotland. Wishing you a very happy New Year.
Thanks, and Happy New Year to you too. The weather: it’s a-changing.
Our Christmas was abnormally warm, humid, and moist. I had shorts on most of the week. So bring on the snow! Happy New Year!
Cold and clear here through Christmas and New Years, then a couple of days with ice and snow. The tree was still up, so best of both worlds: our guests could reach us and we still got to have a white un-Christmas.
A very Happy New Year to you, Tammy!
