In case you didn’t know, I wrote a book about getting bitten by the gardening bug and the revelations and little observations that came with that new pastime (some might call it an obsession).
You can order one at the sneak preview price by clicking here. Or, if you just want to know “Why the goofy title?”, the first few paragraphs tell that story, and are included on the order page.
A couple of blogging buddies have written reviews. To read what they have to say, go to Danger Garden and Gardening With Grace. If you haven’t already discovered these two excellent gardener/writers, you are in for a treat when you browse through their blogs.
Please let me know if you would like to be in the loop for notifications of related events like readings, signings, etc. Just leave a comment here, including your email address. I promise not to bombard you with missives…just the occasional update when something new happens.
What a happy moment for you! Congratulations my garden blog friend.
Loree~You have a special place in my heart as the first person to ever leave a comment on my blog…the first of many pithy, humorous and often enlightening exchanges, it convinced me that blogging could be fun.
Hi Ricki, Your post looks wonderful! I knew there was a reason for the inclement weather today! 🙂 Thanks for the link. I am so proud to know you and to be a part of your endeavor. [No pressure here but I hope you’re working on a sequel.]
Grace~The outline is well along: different garden, different experiences.
So exciting! The cover is so beautiful. I’ve skimmed but not read it yet as I’m totally mired in The Godfather. I did give you a shout out though! 🙂
Ricki, Philip’s just ordered it for me… how sweet
Wendy~Oh. man. The Godfather…what an act to follow. It will definitely be a change of pace.
Linda~That Philip is a gem!
My copy has arrived! I’m thrilled for you at this accomplishment, and excited for me getting to read it. After a quick peek through, it looks like just the thing for my dear father-in-law, who discovered plants this year…at the age of 82, he’s now gardening up a storm. I’m saving the bulk of your book for crummy weather and a cup of tea – nice winter prospect!
Ricki, How exciting for you to now be called a ‘published author’! My copy is sitting on my desk waiting for me to read it…now I just have to find the time to devote to it. BTW, love the title.
Jane~I promise I didn’t order up the crummy weather to get you reading, but I do look forward to hearing what you think. And your father-in-law, too.
Debbie~Thanks! I was a lttle leery of the title, but it seems to be a hit.
Congratulations. If I can judge your book by its cover it’s colorful, lively and filled with some interesting twists and turns. I’m looking forward to reading it!
James~Oh, goody…can’t wait to hear what you think.
