These may get even prettier as they mature to a dusky purple, but past experience tells me to snap the photo and celebrate the moment. Anna (Flutter and Hum) takes you to the coast for her vignettes this week. You won’t want to miss it.

Lovely.
Thanks!
Nice shot, and I understand the idea that you have to take your shots when you can. Will the critters get them before they ripen?
They’re just Concord grapes, so if the critters get them I won’t be devastated.
Do you actually get ripened fruit before the critters get it? That doesn’t often happen in my garden, unfortunately.
This is a first for us, so time will tell.
You can’t go wrong with green on green, Ricki! Even if it changes later. I’m with you on this one – celebrate the moment is where it’s at! 🙂
I’ve let too many magic moments pass me by. Hope to have learned my lesson.
A beautiful, lush green vignette for late summer!
I’m drawn to the cool colors with this heat.
Grapes are such pretty vines and when they throw on those cool dangly earrings, even more so! Nice picture!
And then there is the Autumn color show.
Nice vignette. The early, green stage is very appealing. Hope you get to taste later.
The last open garden I attended, there were clusters of purple grapes with that wonderful bloom hanging agains a dark brown shingled house. It was very dramatic.
Technically grapes are in the edibles category but I think they’re highly ornamental too. Your photo proves it! Beautiful.
I like my edibles to be decorative.
Berries and fruit can be very beautiful, as your picture shows. Plus there are oh so many birds and critters salivating for just a hint of ripeness to gobble them down – meaning you are right to take your pictures now.
I’d like to see them reach that lovely dusky purple shade. Don’t care so much about eating them.
