Dreaming of a White Christmas? I’ve experienced only one in my lifetime. It was not too long ago, so here’s a photo. It’s the closest I will get this year.

  1. That is a lovely vignette. I will not have a white Christmas in Wisconsin this year, either, which is unusual. The weather people are saying our chances are near zero. Was your white Christmas in Portland or elsewhere?

  2. Beautiful! I’ve never had a white Christmas. In fact, I’ve only seen snow a few times in my life. (I don’t get out enough.) The first time I saw snow come down from the sky, when driving up north of Sacramento to visit family, it literally did not compute at first.

    • We just spent the day last minute shopping and running errands. Being snowed in puts a stop to all such activity. The only danger facing us was nearly being blown off the roof of the parking structure. Home safe and sound and wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

    • Cold and clear here through Christmas and New Years, then a couple of days with ice and snow. The tree was still up, so best of both worlds: our guests could reach us and we still got to have a white un-Christmas.
A very Happy New Year to you, Tammy!
